Today is the day many college football fans have been waiting for across the country, as their favorite recruits are announcing where they are going to go play. Now, it is even more exciting, as there are also a ton of players transferring from other schools.

A lot of these guys are going within in the conference, and former Florida offensive lineman, Jalen Farmer, will be doing just that as he announced he is going to be a Kentucky Wildcat.

Farmer originally chose the Gators out of high school over offers from Kentucky, Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, and a few others. He was ranked as a 3-star recruit in the class of 2022 and considered a top-50 interior offensive lineman in the class by 247Sports Composite.

After announcing that he was going to transfer, Farmer took visits to Tennessee and Kentucky before announcing that he would be continuing his college football in Lexington.

Farmer is joining a transfer class that also has Brock Vandagriff, Jamon Dumas-Johnson and Chip Trayanum among others coming to Kentucky.

Farmer figures to be ready to compete for playing time immediately for Kentucky, and at the minimum, provide the team with a lot more interior depth.
