Jantzen Dunn, a Kentucky native and former Ohio State defensive back, has announced a commitment to play in the SEC closer to home.

Coming out of high school in Bowling Green, Kentucky (South Warren), Dunn was ranked as a 4-star in the 2021 class per the 247Sports Composite, and 247Sports also had him ranked as the No. 10 safety and No. 2 prospect from his home state of Kentucky. Dunn picked the Buckeyes over the likes of Alabama, Boston College, Arkansas and Baylor.

Now, he has committed to play at Kentucky.

Dunn suffered a season-ending knee injury halfway through his freshman season. This season, Dunn played in 4 games for the Buckeyes.

Dunn will have 3 years of eligibility remaining and bring some experience to the Wildcats after they lost starters Carrington Valentine to the NFL Draft and All-SEC pick Keidron Smith to graduation.
