Javon Baker, an Alabama wide receiver transfer, and a one-time 4-star recruit who was part of Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class, has announced a commitment to a new program.

Baker, who had 7 receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown this past season, and appeared in 20 games for the Tide, entered the transfer portal a week ago, and on Friday announced that he would commit to Kentucky.

Baker wrote on Instagram: “Thank you to everybody who believed in me and guided me thru this process… let’s show the world what they haven’t seen yet4️⃣sure. #bbn”

Baker appeared in 13 games this past season. He is listed at 6-foot-2 and 206 pounds and from Atlanta (McEachern). He was a 4-star recruit coming out of high school, according to the 247Sports Composite.
