John Calipari previews No. 2 Kentucky's matchup with No. 15 Abilene Christian in Round 1
The Kentucky Wildcats were given a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament during Sunday’s selection show, heading off to the Midwest region.
In Round 1, they’ll face the Abilene Christian Wildcats, the No. 15 seed and champions of the Southland Conference.
During his radio show on Monday, Kentucky coach John Calipari gave a preview of the other Wildcats, saying his squad will need to watch out for Abilene Christian’s big man:
Calipari on Abilene Christian: good inside-out type of team. Run good stuff. Great spacing. Five man can shoot 3s. They'll pop him out. He made two 3s in a row in their conference title game that ended it.

That “five man” is senior F Hayden Farquhar, who scored 14 points and hit two three-pointers in ACU’s Southland title-clinching victory over New Orleans.
Kentucky still should be fine in this game, and enters the contest as 21.5-point favorites. However, Cal will take this team seriously and have them well-scouted by Thursday.
