The Kentucky Wildcats beat the Missouri Tigers on Tuesday night, but it came with a cost, as big man Reid Travis went down with a knee injury.
It didn’t look good at the time, but now it appears that he has avoided a season-ending injury.
According to coach John Calipari, Travis is getting evaluated on Wednesday night, but he expects the Stanford graduate transfer to be out for at least a week with the injury:
“I would say he’s going to be out at least a week to 10 days.” – Cal says, but again, that’s preliminary. We don’t have any results back yet.

Travis has started 23 of the Wildcats’ 26 games this year, appearing in all 26. He is averaging 11.3 points and 6.9 rebounds in 27.7 minutes per game.
He could return in time for the SEC Tournament, but until we know more about the injury, a timetable won’t be available.
