John Calipari releases details of items available ahead of flood relief fundraiser

John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats are set to host a fundraiser to support flood relief in Eastern Kentucky.
The UK coach earlier Tuesday released information about his players using their name, image and likeness to raise money for victims of the flood incident from last week. He also said the program would give signed balls to the first 100 donors who give $1,000. There’s also a T-shirt available with net proceeds headed to the Red Cross.
While the team will have an open practice on Tuesday night, with doors set to open at 5 p.m. at Rupp Arena, telethon there will also be a telethon from 5-8 p.m. ET on LEX 18.

The program explained that donations for the Kentucky Flood Relief will be accepted upon entry, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to benefit the immediate needs of Kentuckians impacted by the floods.
Members of the UK men’s basketball team will take phone calls and donations as well as participate in an open practice. Special guests are expected to participate in the show.
