Some mock drafts have Kentucky WR/QB Lynn Bowden Jr. going as high as Round 2 in the 2020 NFL Draft.

However, don’t count former ESPN draft expert John Clayton among those who are fans of the versatile Kentucky star.

During an appearance on ESPN Radio in Seattle this week, Clayton revealed that he thinks NFL teams won’t know what to do with Bowden and that he’ll go undrafted (via Kentucky Sports Radio):

“I think right now with so many question marks with no workouts or anything like that, I would have to think that they’re thinking wide receiver or maybe at quarterback,” Clayton said. “But I would have to think he’s going to be more of an undrafted guy than anything else because that’s where you kind of go with that. Again, this draft is so weird because once you got to past the combine, everything was pretty well shut down about 2, couple weeks after the combine.”

Fortunately, we won’t have to wait much longer to find out what NFL teams think of Bowden. Based on his game tape at Kentucky (as well as the fact that he’s an accomplished return man), we’re sure he’ll hear his name called at some point.
