Kentucky’s momentum on the recruiting trail continues this spring as Mark Stoops’ program just landed a commitment from the best defensive back prospect in the state.

North Hardin standout Jordan Lovett announced his commitment to Kentucky over Louisville, Missouri, Georgia Tech, Boston College, and West Virginia on Wednesday.

Incredibly, Lovett registered 15 interceptions last season for North Hardin.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound native of Radcliff is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 6 overall prospect from Kentucky and the No. 50 safety prospect in the nation in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Following this news, Kentucky now holds commitments from nine recruits in the 2021 recruiting cycle and three of the top six prospects from Kentucky in the current recruiting cycle.
