Jordan Wright, Kentucky OLB, announces plans for 2022 season
Jordan Wright had good news for Big Blue Nation on Sunday. The Kentucky outside linebacker is returning in 2022 for another season with the Wildcats.
Wright announced the news by posting a note on his Twitter account:
Sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us directly on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us. One last ride #BBN 💙💙 pic.twitter.com/c3sHrRIO1N

Wright has played 4 seasons without redshirting, but the NCAA issued a waiver that the 2020 season did not count against players’ eligibility due to the pandemic.
In his career, Wright has logged 106 tackles, 7.5 sacks and 10 passes defended. This past season, he had 30 tackles, 4 passes defended and a sack, helping Mark Stoops’ squad win 10 games.
