Kentucky is seemingly getting whoever it wants in the transfer portal right now. The Wildcats landed perhaps the best quarterback available in the portal Tuesday morning and hit another bullseye in the afternoon, scoring a commitment from former Vanderbilt RB Re’Mahn (Ray) Davis.

Davis was a 1,000 yard rusher for the Commodores this season in a bad offense, totaling 1,042 yards (4th in the SEC) and 5 touchdowns. He previously transferred from Temple in 2020 and has been a Kentucky target since entering the transfer portal in early December.

Leary and Davis will be a solid tandem for the Wildcats in replacing Will Levis and Chris Rodriguez, who are both set to be drafted in the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Wildcats also picked up a strong OL transfer from Northern Illinois, Marques Cox, who can help bolster an offensive line that has struggled, to say the least.

And it’s hard to believe the Wildcats are done.
