Kentucky basketball raises over $1 million for flood relief
Kentucky basketball hosted an open practice with an intrasquad scrimmage Tuesday, preluded by a telethon to raise money for those affected by the Eastern Kentucky flooding that hit the area this past week.
The team announced on Twitter Tuesday that the total amount raised has surpassed $1.2 million. That number is still rising.

Head coach John Calipari made some announcements as the night pressed on. For one, the Blue and White game will be hosted in Eastern Kentucky, per Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio.
For another, the Wildcats announced they will launch a home and home series against Gonzaga for the 2022-23 and 23-24 seasons. Kentucky will travel to Spokane in ’22 and the Bulldogs will travel to Rupp in ’23.
