Kentucky football players took the court at Rupp Arena Tuesday night to address the crowd, thanking those in attendance for their support all season.
The team paraded around the Governor’s Cup, earned from downing No. 9 Louisville last Saturday. The team elicited a pretty huge reaction from those at Rupp Arena, too.

And the crowd had plenty of reason to cheer last night even following the football team’s brief address. Kentucky basketball went on to torch No. 8 Miami, winning 95-73.
There were some questions preseason regarding the youth on this Kentucky team, but that’s proven to not be an issue so far. John Calipari’s squad is absolutely deadly in transition and full of athletic playmakers to fit the style of play. It helps that Kentucky is hitting 3s better than all but 3 teams across the country so far – Baylor, Purdue and… Miami.
The Wildcats are 6-1 on the year with a lone loss to Kansas.
