According to Koback’s note that he shared to Twitter, the decision to transfer is in an effort to be closer to home due to unforeseen circumstances. He is originally from Holland, Ohio.

While the Wildcats still have all-SEC RB Benny Snell as their starter, losing Koback is a blow to depth at the position. He is a redshirt freshman that may have seen playing time in 2018, but Kentucky will now try and place the young RB.
