With some key players leaving for the NBA Draft, Kentucky had some open roster spots. Yes, the Wildcats have a few great recruits coming in, but there are also a couple of spots to address via the NCAA transfer portal.

On Monday, they announced they’d landed a highly-coveted transfer from the A-10.

As you can see below, Kentucky took to Twitter to announce that Davidson transfer guard Kellan Grady would be heading to Lexington next season:

In 4 seasons at Davidson, Grady proved to be quite the shooter. In 2020-21, he played in 22 games for the Wildcats, starting all of them. He averaged 17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists.

He also knocked down 58 3-pointers, good for third in the A-10. He made those long-range shots at a 38.2% clip. We’ll see if he can help the Wildcats’ 3-point shooting this coming season.
