Wandale Robinson is staying home.

Mark Stoops and company appear to be seeing the huge season on the field translate to success on the recruiting trail as the Wildcats just picked up their first four-star prospect of the 2019 recruiting cycle from the Frankfort native, Wandale Robinson.

Rated as the No. 4 all-purpose back in the nation and the No. 7 overall recruit in the state of Kentucky by 247Sports Composite, Robinson picked the Wildcats over scholarship offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Nebraska and Purdue. Robinson is scheduled to compete in the 2019 U.S. Army All-American Game once his high school playing career comes to an end and leading up to his arrival in Lexington.

Robinson announced his decision during a comment ceremony at his Western Hills High School Thursday. Following this commitment, Kentucky now holds pledges from 20 commitments for the 2019 recruiting cycle. Robinson is currently rated as the highest prospect in the class.
