Kentucky has reportedly picked up a piece for next season’s Big Blue Wall.

USC transfer lineman Courtland Ford has committed to the Wildcats, according to Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio.

Out of Cedar Hill (Texas), Ford was a member of the 2020 recruiting class. He chose over 22 other scholarship offers.

Ford made 1 appearance as a true freshman, starting USC’s game against Washington State at left guard. In 2021, Ford started USC’s first 8 games at left tackle. He made 9 total appearances, missing time due to a leg injury and mononucleosis.

Last season, Ford saw action in 10 games. He made 3 starts at left tackle. USC’s offensive line was named a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award in 2022.

Ford is listed on the USC roster as measuring 6-6, 305 pounds. His USC bio notes that the Trojans expected him to be a significant contributor on the offensive line.
