Kentucky tight end Jordan Dingle is entering the transfer portal, according to a report from 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz.

Dingle started 7 times for Kentucky this season but made only 9 receptions. He’ll leave Lexington after 4 years with the program and will have 1 year of eligibility remaining.

A 6-foot-4 tight end from Bowling Green, Dingle was honored last weekend on Senior Day. His last game for the Wildcats featured just 28 offensive snaps and 0 targets. Since starting against Auburn, Dingle saw just 4 targets and made only 2 catches (both against Murray State) over the Wildcats’ final 5 games.

Dingle’s best season came in 2022 when he started 12 times and made 20 receptions for 220 yards and 3 touchdowns. He added another 12 catches for a career-best 270 yards in 2023 but did not find the endzone.

He’ll end the 2024 campaign with 9 receptions for 71 yards and a score.

In 39 career appearances for Kentucky, Dingle made 21 starts, caught 43 passes for 615 yards, and scored 4 touchdowns.

Following a 4-8 season that saw the offense completely crater, an exodus was expected and that is exactly what has happened since the transfer portal opened. Dingle joins Khamari Anderson, Tanner Lemaster, Dane Key, Barion Brown, and Anthony Brown-Stephens as pass-catchers to hit the transfer portal. Key and Brown were Kentucky’s only receivers this season to bring in more than 15 receptions.
