The Kentucky program now has two reasons to celebrate this Fourth of July holiday as the Wildcats have just picked up a commitment from Florida native DeMarcus Harris.

The Vero Beach native verbally committed to Kentucky over Indiana, Syracuse and UCF on Wednesday. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Sunshine State native recently visited Lexington after receiving an offer from the program. He obviously came away impressed with the visit and decided to give Kentucky its second commitment from a receiver and its 13th overall pledge for the 2019 recruiting cycle.

Harris is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and the nation’s No. 150 overall receiver prospect.
