The Kentucky Wildcats have a tough SEC matchup in Week 7 against the Vanderbilt Commodores. The Commodores, once thought of as an easy win, are coming off one of college football’s biggest upsets in recent memory after beating No. 1 Alabama in Week 6.
Kentucky, meanwhile, is coming off a bye week after upsetting Ole Miss in Week 5. Now, ahead of the Week 7 tilt, the Wildcats have revealed the uniform combo that will be worn this weekend.

The Wildcats will sport the black and blue combo for this conference matchup. Blue helmets, black jerseys, blue pants, black cleats, and blue gloves. It’s different than the normal home combo, which is the blue helmets, blue jerseys, and white pants.
This is an awesome look for the Wildcats and the team is also asking the fans to wear black.

This is an important game for the Wildcats, so the crowd could play a big factor. The team is looking to improve to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in conference play. It’s been an up-and-down season for the Cats, who looked like a contender when they played Georgia close and beat Ole Miss.
However, the same team was destroyed by South Carolina and has dealt with an inconsistent offense all season.
A win over Vanderbilt would make the team feel much better about their season. The Wildcats and Commodores will kick off from Kroger Field on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. ET.
