New York may have found a gem in former Kentucky standout Kevin Knox.

Eight teams passed on Knox before the Knicks drafted him at No. 9 overall last month, and it appears that he’s NBA-ready now. Knox put on a show Saturday in his NBA Summer League debut, scoring 22 points and adding eight rebounds.

In fact, his first points as a Knick came on a nasty dunk:

We’re still not sure how Knox slipped to No. 9, and Knicks fans even booed Knox when he was drafted. He could be the NBA’s Rookie of the Year.
