Longest one in SEC history? Thirsty UK fans develop massive Cup Snake during Vandy blowout
The traditional cheer at Kentucky games is C-A-T-S, CATs! CATs! CATs! But at Vanderbilt during a rout of the Commodores, a new cheer developed.
“C-U-P-S, Cups! Cups! Cups!”
As the football team dispatched of Vanderbilt 38-14, UK fans were busy guzzling drinks in the stands and forming what they hoped is the longest Cup Snake in SEC history. Selling alcohol in SEC stadiums is becoming more and more popular in the first season it’s allowed, and this kind of performance will make some wonder about the UK administration’s decision to not sell beer at Kroger Field.
As alcohol sales become more common across the SEC, look for this kind of thing to develop more and more as games get out of hand on the scoreboard.
.@bigblueinsider1 just said the UK fans with the cup snake are chanting C-U-P-S, Cups! Cups! Cups!
