Kentucky is no stranger to picking up commitments from good high school quarterbacks recently.

On Monday, the Wildcats picked up a commitment from class of 2017 quarterback Mac Jones, who’s from Jacksonville, Florida. Jones is rated a three-star prospect and the No. 25 pro-style signal caller, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.

He announced his commitment on Twitter.

The 6-2, 175-pound signal caller becomes Mark Stoops’ first commitment of the 2017 recruiting class, and he’s a solid piece to build the Wildcats’ Air Raid offense around.
