MACtion is one of the great parts of college football for diehard fans of the sport. The MAC takes over Tuesday and Wednesday nights starting in November, a clever and fun way to showcase its product.
Well, this September, the Kentucky Wildcats will be hoping to avoid a MACtion loss, as 2 tough teams from the conference will make the trip to Lexington.
At MAC Media Day on Tuesday, the preseason media poll was released. Miami (OH) was projected to win the East, with Northern Illinois picked to win the West. The Huskies also received the most votes to win the league title:

Kentucky will face both Miami (OH) and Northern Illinois this year. The RedHawks head to Lexington to open the season on Saturday, Sept. 3. Meanwhile, the Huskies come to Kroger Field on Saturday, Sept. 24, for a Week 4 showdown.
Can Kentucky go 2-0 in those games? The Wildcats will have to be ready to play when Miami (OH) and Northern Illinois come to town, as they are 2 of the best teams the MAC has to offer in 2022.
