Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats defeated Ohio 41-6 on Saturday from Kroger Field in Lexington. He took to the microphone soon after to discuss his team’s win.
He started out by saying it’s good that Kentucky was able to get back in the win column, but that there were obviously some more things to clean up moving forward.
Kentucky HC Mark Stoops: Nice to get back in the win column. Guys have worked really hard the last two weeks to get some things corrected. Had the right mindset today. Far from perfect, many mistakes, still looking for consistency, but improved.

A few Wildcats had excellent days in particular, such as Dane Key and Jamarion Wilcox. Key finished with 7 receptions for 145 yards, leading all receivers.
Key’s highlight play was a hurdle over a Bobcats defender, very nearly for a score.

Stoops had some words to say about Key’s strong outing, too:

The Wildcats will be back in action next weekend against No. 5 Ole Miss in Oxford. The Rebels have one of the best offensive attacks in college football and will test the Wildcats defense. Kickoff is set for Noon.
