Mark Stoops flexes on Louisville following rivalry win: ‘It’s not the SEC’

Mark Stoops flexed his muscles Saturday afternoon following the Wildcats’ 38-31 win over the No. 10 Cardinals.
The Kentucky head coach made sure to pay respect to Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm following the win, saying he’s done a good job in Year 1 with the program. However, “it’s not the SEC.”

It surely does say a lot about the ACC that the team that will be fighting for an ACC title next week lost to a middle-of-the-pack SEC program in Louisville. The SEC really is king, after all.
Kentucky football finished the regular season 7-5 after a season-defining win over the Cardinals. They now await their bowl designation.
