Mark Stoops proud of 'special group' of players after 'gratifying' win over Louisville
In a game where Kentucky never punted during a 56-10 win over Louisville, coach Mark Stoops had plenty to be proud about as the Wildcats’ took the Governor’s Cup, and picked up a ninth win.
Terry Wilson had 340 yards and four touchdowns, while Benny Snell, Jr. had two more touchdowns.
It was UK’s first nine-win regular season since 1977 as the Wildcats scored on all five first-half drives, and never trailed against UofL, which is going through a coaching transition following the firing of Bobby Petrino.
