Marquan McCall, the lovable Kentucky defensive tackle, has announced his plans for the 2022 season, and he will enter the NFL Draft.

McCall, a 6-foot-3 and 379-pounder out of Detroit, Michigan, shared the news on social media.

“After deep consideration, my family and I have decided for my advancement to enter the NFL Draft. I love all of you, and the University of Kentucky will always be my second home,” McCall wrote as he thanked his coaches, teammates, mentors and Big Blue Nation.

McCall suffered an ankle injury against Florida, but previously was in line to have an all-conference season as he stepped into a starting role this season to replace Quinton Bohanna, who he backed up for the last 3 seasons.

McCall previously accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl, which tipped his hand on giving up his eligibility for next season.
