Aaron Rodgers got his man.

After a long offseason of drama, Rodgers showed up and reported to Green Bay as scheduled this week. One of the first gestures of goodwill the Packers made in response was to bring back one of the quarterback’s favorite targets.

Randall Cobb has been traded by the Houston Texans to the Packers. Cobb announced the news on Wednesday morning with the tweet below.

Cobb’s first eight seasons in the NFL came in Green Bay with Rodgers. During that time, Cobb registered 470 receptions for 5,524 yards and 41 touchdowns. Cobb’s numbers rank among the best in franchise history as his catch total ranks sixth in franchise history and his receiving yards rank 11th in Packers’ history.

After one season with the Dallas Cowboys (and former Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy) and one with the Houston Texans, Cobb is back in Green Bay.
