Ugonna Onyenso is going to be a problem for the rest of college basketball very soon.

Don’t take our word for it. Take it from one of the most dominant college basketball players the SEC has seen in 5 years, Oscar Tshiebwe.

“Oh boy, he got me in trouble,” Tshiebwe told the Lexington Herald Ledger of Onyenso. “I’m in trouble in practice a lot. He’s blocking my shot, blocking my shot, blocking my shot. He will be a problem as a basketball player. … I see him as a great basketball player. And I see him making a big impact one day. I see him blocking shots. I see him like a new Anthony Davis blocking shots.”

The 7-foot center is rated as a former 4-star prospect, one that found his way to yet another top 10 class for the Wildcats. He was rated as the No. 9 center in the 2022 Class and is to be taught by one of the best when it comes to developing talent, John Calipari.

Basketball season is right around the corner!
