The Allen Iverson Classic is a highly-regarded All-American game similar to the McDonalds All-American contest held in late March. It’s where young hoops stars can show off their game to a crowd filled with scouts, coaches and more excited to invest in their future.

And a pair of Kentucky 5-star signees dominated Saturday night’s big game. Justin Edwards and DJ Wagner were named Co-MVPs for their play at the Iverson Classic, and those who attended the game backed it up: these 2 can really play.

Edwards, the No. 2 overall prospect in the country, was reportedly especially dominant. Fellow Kentucky signee Robert Dillingham, another 5-star prospect, also played well in the game.

What’s even more terrifying? Aaron Bradshaw and Reed Sheppard, 2 of Kentucky’s 5 total top 35 prospects in the Class of 2023, did not participate in the game.

Kentucky has had its struggles in recent years, but this group of freshmen could be the ones to establish dominance once again. At least, if their performances at the Iverson Classic are any indication.
