Ray Davis has made his decision regarding the Gator Bowl.

Many wondered whether the star running back would suit up for the Kentucky Wildcats one more time after Davis officially declared for the 2024 NFL Draft last week. On Thursday, Davis took to social media to announce that he will indeed finish off his college career by playing in the bowl game against Clemson.

Davis captioned the video “chapter started: Sep 2, 2023 > chapter ends Dec 29, 2023,” referring to the date of the Gator Bowl.

The star running back made a permanent mark at Kentucky, setting a school record for rushing touchdowns in a single season. Davis ended the year with 1,066 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns. The back also added 7 receiving TDs and 317 receiving yards. Only Missouri’s Cody Schrader and LSU’s Jayden Daniels had more rushing yards in the SEC in 2023.

The Wildcats finished the 2023 regular season with a 7-5 record and received an invitation to the Gator Bowl. The team will take on the Clemson Tigers in the game, and they will officially have their best player with them.

Kentucky and Clemson kick off from Jacksonville at noon ET on Dec. 29.
