Report: 4-star Kentucky WR Lynn Bowden cleared to join the Wildcats
After losing WR Jeff Badet to the Oklahoma Sooners this offseason as a graduate transfer, the Kentucky Wildcats have a hole to fill at wide receiver.
They had hoped elite 4-star 2017 WR Lynn Bowden would be able to help fill Badet’s shoes this fall, but the Ohio native had eligibility issues.
Fortunately for Mark Stoops and his staff, though, Bowden was reportedly cleared by the NCAA on Friday and is now eligible to join the team for practices:

According to 247Sports, Bowden was the No. 4 athlete in the class of 2017 and the No. 3 overall recruit from the state of Ohio.
He was also the highest-rated player in Kentucky’s class, which ranked No. 31 nationally and No. 12 in the SEC.
