Of all the players who left Kentucky this offseason, the most painful for coach John Calipari seemed to be F Sacha Killeya-Jones, who announced he’d transfer from the program.

It seems Coach Cal saw SKJ’s potential and was excited about the chance to give him a bigger role in the 2018-19 season, but now he won’t get that chance.

So, where will Killeya-Jones end up? According to Rivals recruiting analyst Clint Jackson, the North Carolina Tar Heels are trying to bring the big man to Chapel Hill:

SKJ averaged 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds while appearing in 34 games for the Wildcats this season, but it’s clear he wants a bigger role somewhere.

North Carolina is a perennial contender for ACC and national championships, so Killeya-Jones could potentially be an impact player if he ends up in Carolina blue.
