After he was selected by the Washington Wizards with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, former Kentucky star John Wall has been struggling lately.
He didn’t play at all last year while dealing with an injury and hasn’t played in more than half of Washington’s games in a season since the 2016-17 campaign.
On Wednesday night, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the 5-time All-Star is on the move. Per Woj, Wall is heading to the Houston Rockets, along with a first-round draft pick, in exchange for Russell Westbrook:
Houston has agreed to trade Russell Westbrook to Washington for John Wall and a first-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

That’s a huge trade, as Wall will now be tasked with playing alongside superstar James Harden.
Can Wall stay healthy and look like his old self? We’ll find out when the NBA season starts later this month!
