On Tuesday afternoon, Virginia Tech F Kerry Blackshear Jr. announced he was entering the 2019 NBA Draft.

However, since he can still return to school, he also said he was exploring his graduate transfer options, and it didn’t take long for schools to start contacting the 6-10 scorer.

Per Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio, Blackshear has already been contacted by the Kentucky Wildcats:

Coach John Calipari started to play the grad transfer game last year, adding big man Reid Travis from Stanford. Travis played a big role in the Wildcats’ season.

Blackshear averaged 14.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while knocking down 33.3 percent of his three-point attempts. Kentucky will likely remain a big player, but other top programs will certainly be reaching out to Blackshear, too.
