The Kentucky Wildcats are gearing up for an important 2021-22 season. The 2020-21 campaign was historically bad for John Calipari’s squad, but brighter days are on the horizon.

The school has already landed Davidson sharpshooter Kellan Grady and Georgia point guard Sahvir Wheeler, among others, through the transfer portal.

And, according to college basketball insider Jeff Borzello of ESPN, another high-scoring guard could head to Lexington soon.

Per Borzello, Minnesota transfer Marcus Carr is down to his top-4 teams — Kansas, Texas, Louisville and Kentucky:

Carr averaged 19.4 points, 4.9 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game last season for Minnesota, appearing in 29 games and starting all of them.
