Why be creative when you can just steal content from others?

That’s apparently the thought process down in Tallahassee these days as Willie Taggart’s Florida State program not only copied an old Mark Stoops’ slogan, they are using it against the Wildcats.

Florida offensive lineman recruit Richard Leonard was once committed to Kentucky but backed off that pledge back in April. While he’s still scheduled to visit Lexington before making his next commitment, Florida State has been showing the 6-foot-2, 320-pound Cocoa, Fla., native some attention lately on the recruiting trail — in addition to Tennessee, Miami and Georgia Tech.

The latest example of FSU’s interest in Leonard comes from the graphic below, which the Florida native posted online. On the left side of the graphic written in white, FSU tagged the image “Why Florida State? Why not” among other stats and slogans. The only problem with that is the slogan is a ripoff of the one Stoops used when he arrived in Lexington.

“Why not us? Why not Kentucky?” was the way Stoops and Kentucky phrased the question to recruits.
