TyTy Washington injury: John Calipari asked about Kentucky guard after leaving Auburn game

TyTy Washington was unavailable for more than 28 minutes of Kentucky’s loss at Auburn on Saturday.
After the game, John Calipari was asked about Washington in his postgame press conference. Calipari said Washington’s absence hurt the Cats on Saturday. The head coach doesn’t know right now when the starting guard will be back in action.
John Calipari on what Kentucky loses by not having TyTy Washington. “It hurts us. He’s a playmaker. If he needs to go get a basket, he can do it. We don’t have those guys (otherwise).”

Washington injured his left ankle when he landed on a teammate’s foot around the 8:20 mark of the first half. He played a total of 9 minutes on Saturday.
