Kentucky defensive tackle Melvin Lewis suffered a lower leg injury in the second quarter of the Wildcats’ game with Auburn on Thursday night. He had to be helped to the locker room, and did not return.
Lewis, a 6-foot-4, 332-pound senior from Compton, Calif., has made 54 career tackles for Kentucky.
