The college football world is in mourning this week after popular former Kentucky QB Jared Lorenzen passed away at the age of 38 on Wednesday following a long battle with illness.
Lorenzen, nicknamed the “Hefty Lefty,” was perhaps one of the most popular former college players in the country, particularly in the Bluegrass State.
Following his death, a number of tributes have been pouring in, including this cool feature from ESPN’s E:60 program:

Lorenzen was amazing to watch on the field, particularly during his time at Kentucky. He was also a very popular person off the field.
He’ll be remembered in the SEC for a long time. Rest in peace, Jared.
