The 2018 NBA Draft is coming up next week in Brooklyn, and ahead of the annual event, Kentucky’s Kevin Knox is making the most of his opportunities to impress NBA teams.

On Tuesday, he was impressive in a private workout, which Jonathan Givony of Draft Express said was one of the best they’ve seen so far.

As you can see below, Knox says he’s been working extra hard on his ball-handling skills, which is what he wants to do more of at the NBA level:

“When I get to the next level in the NBA, I want to be able to handle the ball a lot in the pick-and-roll,” he said. “That’s what I want to do — be able to make reads, be able to make plays, winning plays, out of the pick-and-roll. I want to be able to be a primary ball handler at the next level, so that’s what I’m working really well on now.”

Being able to play in the pick-and-roll and being able to create plays off the dribble are two things players need to be able to do in today’s NBA. Knox is proving he can do all those things, so we’ll see how high he rises in the first round on Thursday, June 21.
