WATCH: Malik Monk has embarrassing jersey-related mishap while checking into preseason game

The preseason is a chance for players to work their way back into game shape before the start of the regular season.
Former Kentucky star Malik Monk needs to work on his pregame routine, apparently, as he experienced an embarrassing (and hilarious) mishap for the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night.
As you can see in the video below, Monk tries to check into the game, but realizes he left his jersey in the locker room:

That could be chalked up as a rookie mistake, but Monk is entering his second year in the NBA, so we can’t use that excuse.
We’re sure he’ll get everything sorted out by the time the regular season tips off, though.
