The Minnesota Timberwolves went into Oklahoma City and beat the Thunder on Tuesday night, but that’s not what Thunder fans care about right now.
During the game, C Nerlens Noel, a former Kentucky star, was hit in the head while defending a dunk attempt and landed hard on the floor, smacking his head again off the hardwood.
As you can see in the video below (scroll down if you don’t want to see the disturbing footage), Noel seemed to be knocked out after landing hard:

Noel was taken off the court on a stretcher, where he is presumably heading to a local hospital:
Prayers up for Nerlens Noel. The Thunder big man caught an elbow, hit his head and had to be stretchered off ? pic.twitter.com/22qPKtz1l6

You hope he was just taken off on a stretcher as a precautionary measure, as it’s better to be safe than sorry with head/neck injuries.
Hopefully, we get a positive update on Noel’s condition soon.
