Will Levis comes into this season with plenty of hype as an experienced quarterback looking to take Kentucky to the next level and challenge Georgia in the SEC East.

“We know that there’s a chance,” Levis said during an appearance on ESPN’s “First Take.” “We know in this building that there’s more than a chance and we have a great shot at it. We’re the only ones who know how hard we work and I know our guys have the right mindset to really take this season head on. We have a great schedule, we have some great opponents, we have some opponents we want to get back from last year.”

About a replacement for Wan’Dale Robinson, Levis didn’t single out any teammates, but said UK has plenty of depth at wide receiver.

Levis deflected the Todd McShay mock draft pegging him No. 8 overall to the New York Giants next season, but said what separates him from other quarterbacks is who he is as a person.

“I carry myself on and off the field as professionally as well as anyone in the country,” Levis said. “I’m only going to bring positive vibes and positive attention to whatever franchise takes a chance on me.”
