Adam Miller went on social media to detail what his plans are for 2023. LSU men’s basketball finished the 2022 season with a 14-19 record.
Miller announced that he will be transferring from the Tigers’ basketball program on Friday via his Instagram account. Miller played in 33 games for LSU this season and averaged 11.5 points per game, which was the second-highest on the team.
Miller made sure to thank the LSU basketball program.
“Thank you to Coach McMahon and staff,” said Miller. “I am very grateful to be able to play for and battle with you guys through the season. Thank you to my teammates who I shared blood, sweat, and tears with. After long thought I have decided to go into the portal again.”

Miller joined LSU after spending one season with Illinois in 2020. Miller missed the entirety of 2021 with LSU after tearing his ACL a few weeks before the season opener.
LSU finished with a losing record under Matt McMahon in year one. McMahon took over for Will Wade after the former LSU coach was dismissed in March of 2022.
The Tigers advanced the second round of the SEC Tournament before losing to Vanderbilt 77-68. Saturday Down South will keep you updated on where Miller goes next.
