Ali Gaye, LSU DE, reveals future plans ahead of Citrus Bowl vs. Purdue

Ali Gaye announced Tuesday morning that he will be skipping LSU’s bowl game against Purdue to prepare for the NFL Draft.
Gaye spent 3 years in Baton Rouge after transferring from Garden City Community College in Kansas. The 5th-year senior made his bowl announcement via his personal Twitter account.

Gaye totaled 86 tackles across his 3 years with the Tigers, with 9 pass deflections and 6.5 sacks along the way. He also forced 3 fumbles with 1 interception. He earned 2nd-team All SEC honors in 2020 and is likely to be around a 3rd round draft pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
LSU faces off against Purdue in the Citrus Bowl on Jan. 2, 2023.
