B.J. Ojulari has now been chosen in the 2023 NFL Draft. Ojulari was taken by the Arizona Cardinals with the 41st overall pick in the second round.

Ojulari attended LSU from 2020-2022, appearing in 31 games. The LSU OLB recorded 128 total tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, and 16.5 sacks during his career as a Tiger.

The Cardinals will be coached by a new face in 2023. Jonathan Gannon previously coached the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense and will be running the show out in the desert.

Arizona fired former HC Kliff Kingsbury after a disappointing 4-13 record in 2022. Kingsbury coached Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes while at Texas Tech.

LSU had a favorable first season with Brian Kelly as head coach. Kelly led the Tigers to an appearance in the SEC Championship game and bowl game to finish at 10-4.

The Tigers faced Purdue in the Citrus Bowl and dominated the Boilermakers by a score of 63-7.

Ojulari will try to bring life to an Arizona defense that allowed 348.9 total offensive yards per game last season.
