LSU is playing a lowly Texas A&M team much closer than anyone anticipated in the regular season finale as the Tigers only scored 10 points to the Aggies’ 17 points in the first half.

Tigers head coach Brian Kelly spoke to some of his young team’s struggles throughout the first two quarters of action which come down to just that.

“It’s a very talented football team, but it’s young,” Kelly said. “You can see at times it is really scary and then sometimes there’s a loss there of maybe some focus. But if they put it all together, it’s not a team you want to be around when they put it all together.”

LSU remains tied at 17-17 with Texas A&M roughly midway through the third quarter.
