Brian Kelly doesn’t like to be disrespected and he felt Missouri did that Saturday.
Kelly said that LSU was motivated after Mizzou scheduled LSU for homecoming weekend. As a result, LSU won the game by a score of 49-39 thanks to a late pick-6 to seal the deal.

Major Burns intercepted Brady Cook and returned it to the house as Missouri was backed up inside its own five-yard line.
Kelly was adamant that Burns shouldn’t have scored and just gone down as a show of sportsmanship. The LSU head coach said he talked to Burns about it.

The moral of the story here is don’t disrespect Kelly or his team. Missouri learned that the hard way in Columbia Saturday.
LSU recovered after losing to Ole Miss in Oxford. The Tigers now sit at 4-2 on the year after handing Missouri its first loss of the season.
The Bayou Bengals face Auburn next on Oct. 14 in Baton Rouge.
