Brian Kelly’s LSU staff continues to take shape. Two more recruiting staffers are reportedly on their way to Baton Rouge. LSU is set to hire Sherman Wilson and Jordan Acrement, John Brice of FootballScoop reports, per sources.

Wilson heads to LSU from Louisiana Tech. He was the Bulldogs’ director of football recruiting the past year. Wilson has Louisiana ties having coached as a high school assistant and Southern Louisiana alumnus. Wilson was hired at Memphis as a recruiting analyst in February 2020. In June 2020, he served as a scouting apprentice for the Los Angeles Rams.

Acrement has been working as director of recruiting and event development for apparel company Shock Doctor. He spent 3 seasons (2018-20) on staff at Virginia as director of recruiting communications and senior scout. Acrement is a Louisiana native who played at Nicholls State.
